House History Special

If you live in a house that's more than around 100 years' old, and would like to know more about the people who lived there in the past, we can bring the basics of that history to you.

For a special price of just £35 we'll trawl through census returns and report back on the families and individuals that lived in your house. Where available, we'll provide a copy of the relevant census page(s). More in-depth research about the lives of those individuals and families is also available via the bespoke research option.

A census has taken place every ten years since 1841 (except 1941) and are made public 100 years after they were taken. They provide a unique snapshot in time and are and invaluable resource for the family historian. See the article on Census Returns for more information.
